All in all the photoreference I get from my costemers play a huge role in the high quality end result of the drawing. The lightning must be well balanced, the composition must makes sense and the size of the photo must be at least be 3 megapixel. I am not a visionary, so what I cannot see on a photo, I cannot draw.
If you are using your mobile phone to take photos, thats totally fine. But please make sure that the shot was taken at good daylight conditions.
