The sizes I am offering are just my suggestions and can be discussed individually of course.

Square:

DIN A5 (14,8* 21 cm)

DIN A4 (21*29,7 cm)

DIN A3 (29,7*42 cm)

DIN A2 (42*59,4 cm)

Quadrat:

20*20 cm

30*30 cm

40*40 cm

All in all for most of my drawings I prefer a square one, but for some drawings a quadrat could work better.

Materials

Colored pencils

Polychromos

The Polychromos colored pencils are by the german brand Faber Castell and are high pigmented and lightfast.

Luminance by Caran dÀche

I also love these pencils, they are a bit thicker and offer another palette of colors, especcially for realistic skin really important.

Pastels

I am not using the typical pastel blocks and the typical paper for my pastel work. I love using the Panpastels for the first layers and add fine details with pastel pencils. I own three sets of Faber Castell, Derwent and Caran d´Ache.

Graphite

I use the graphite pencils by Faber Castells which come in a huge range of different grades. I combine them with the Mars Lumograph pencils by Staedtler which offer me to create dark hair and eyes without a shiny effect.
